Although Noosa is not a big city, many people came to watch the rugby games. I hope Rugby becomes a huge spectator sport in Japan someday too.
2. Rugby is for kids too
Many kids were watching the games which rarely happens in Japan as most Japanese kids have never even heard of Rugby.
3. Close to the action
I watched the game really close to the players. It was really powerful and exciting!
4. A free atmosphere
Some were sitting on a ground, some were drinking, some were eating and of course some were playing rugby. Everyone had a great weekend of fun.
5. Every game had a powerful impact on me, especially the women’s games!
Powerful, speedy, skillful. It made me feel that I wanted to play rugby even more. I’m really looking forward to next season. I can’t wait!
I really enjoyed this. I learned a lot more about rugby. Thank you for the best weekend ever Noosa Sevens!

Ayane Hirate
I'm Ayane Hirata from Japan. I have been playing rugby since 2005. My dream is to be an international rugby player. So I'm playing rugby next season in Queensland. I find English really hard to learn but I never give up. I will do my best so that my dream may come true.
